This may upset some people but this is me.
Who or what is God?
I have never been overly religious, at times agnostic, but as I aged, I came to a realization about the possibility of God.
Where do we find the evidence of God? Look at a tree. Look at a flower. Look at the ocean, the clouds, the birds, the bee that just stung you, the mosquito that just bit you. Look at your children, your parents, your friends and neighbors. Look at the technology that inspired all the gadgets that we now have. Look at how the planet is reacting to our centuries of mistreating her.
I see God in the strength of our youth who fearlessly ask the difficult questions. I see God in the forests and deserts and plains and oceans and lakes and rivers and wild animals and insects that all comprise our world. Yes, there is a scientific explanation for what I see, but how did it all start? Where did life come from? Science tells us that we came from the ocean, but where did it start? How did the atoms and molecules form to create life? What force caused all this to happen? At this point I am more inclined to believe Science and treat religion as a frivolity.
Science is explaining what God created and it’s doing a better job than religion. I find God in nature but there is one place I do not find God – in church.
